 RKA Photo of the Month.
I am totally blown away at this photo! There are so many aspects to the composition, colors, placement of the subjects it's all fantastic!
I have not asked Bob if he is a professional photographer but if he is not he shoots a pretty darn good shot!
The sign color, and the orange of Tuktah's jacket and helmet fit in perfectly, the subjects are centered and you can still see the rivers in the background.
Did I mention there is a very beautiful lady in the photo?
Did I mention there is a GREAT LOOKING set of RKA 47 liter saddlebags that were purchased from us in 2003 originally for an Honda "African Twin", and are looking pretty darn good for being half way around the world, don't ya think?

Hi Richard,
Here's a shot from the Golden Triangle taken on the Thailand side. Tuktah and I were up there about two weeks ago with a bunch of our riding friends. This time we took the Night Hawk and left the Africa Twin at home. I strapped on your bags and as you can see, they are still looking good after years of use.
I promise to get a couple of good shots of the AT with the new bags soon.

Yes, I'm getting your newsletter and enjoying it very much. Great idea.
The Golden Triangle is located at the junction of Myanmar (Burma), Thailand and Laos. It was famous for growing poppies for opium years ago, thus the name. The Mekong River passes out of Myanmar and divides Thailand from Laos.
The location is Long 100* 04 min 541 sec, Lat 20* 21 min 436 sec.
Tuktah will be thrilled that she'll be in your newsletter. Thanks a lot.
