The JMCB-2003E-BW audio system features a 40 channel CB radio, NOAA weather band, rider/passenger intercom and stereo music amplification from any portable/MP3/iPod type music device OR from one of the custom J&M audio integration adapters available for factory installed BMW radio systems.
Mount it to your left handlebar with the proper bracket kit applicable to your specific BMW model, connect the Can-Bus compatible power supply/harness to your electrical system, install one of J&M’s custom CB antennas, (or any other properly tuned CB antenna) plug in your favorite J&M dual-mode helmet headset/headsets and you are ready to go.
There are no other large hidden black boxes to mount or clutter up your bike, as the complete system is on your handlebar. (Your source music device is plugged into the system as a separate item).
All knobs and controls have been designed for ease of use while riding, even with gloves on and in addition, the unit is water resistant so you won't have to worry about getting caught out in the rain.
Audio performance is superb, even at high speeds, and that is most impressive considering its compact size.
The special power supply/filter for this unit has been made to specifically accommodate the BMW can-bus electrical system for trouble-free operation.
Specific handlebar mounting bracket, CB antenna, BMW radio integration module and helmet headsets are sold separately.
Important Note: The JMCB-2003 is a J&M 6-pin audio system that requires the pre-amplified microphone signal provided by our Dual-Mode (ECD/ICD/BCD/CD prefixed) helmet headsets along with the #HC-ZJM, HC-ZJM-S or #HC-PJM lower section hook-up cord (please see the headset/helmet pages). |
