Before using your luggage it's best to protect them with 303 Fabric Guard. Which is one of the only products on the market that has UV protection which will slow the fading process.

For these instructions we are using our BMW R1200ST,
Your motorcycle may be a little different and require some small adjustments. If you have ANY questions or problems please feel free to call us. We are here to help.
The hook and loop top straps are very adjustable and can be adjusted to the width for your seat or bodywork so when placed OVER the seat (figure 1) they set nice and square on the sides of your motorcycle.
HIGHER IS BETTER, we recommend you adjust the bags on the high side so there is less chance of interference with the pipes or tire. (Figure 1A) This shows the adjustability

On the front inside lower section of each bag is a webbing strap with a cam buckle, see (figure 2).
These straps generally wrap around the "V"of the passenger foot peg bracket. Adjust the cam buckles by sliding them along the webbing then string the webbing through the cam buckle, snug down the bags and close the cam buckle making sure the webbing is laying in the canal of the cam. This keeps the bags from blowing "out" at speed.

On the rear inside lower section of each bag is a keeper. On the right side bag is a webbing strap with a cam buckle already attached to the right side bag keeper.
Run the webbing OVER the fender and UNDER the licence plate, then string the webbing through the keeper on the left bag. Snug down the bags and close the cam buckle, making sure the webbing is laying in the canal of the cam. The cam buckle will slide along the webbing to adjust. See (figure 3, 4 and 5). This attachment application keeps the bags from sliding forward under heavy braking.

RKA,s special hook & loop system with "Slip-not" on the backs for protection allows you to attach the bags in a varity of ways. Over the seat, under the seat or over a cowling.
Be careful not to come in contact with the pipe or tire. You will need at least 2 to 3 inches of clearance from the pipes when installing the bags this way.
Remove the seat and adjust the bags slightly lose from the way you want them to fit.
Once you install the seat they will generally tighten up somewhat.
RKA luggage is guaranteed against defects for as long as you own them.
