Parts List:
1 Tankbag / Raincover
1 back strap with buckle attached
2 front straps with buckles attached
1 cross over strap |

This is the cross over strap you do not have to use this part with the K1200RS if you don't want to.

Take two of the 25" long webbings and cut them to about 6" long.

With a soldering gun burn the end to seal it.

With the soldering gun poke a hole in the webbing

The hole should look something like this ;-)

Remove the left screw on the front of the tank cover, attach the webbing and replace the screw.
Depending on the size you made your hole you may or may not want to use a washer.

Remove the right screw on the front of the tank cover, attach the webbing and replace the screw.
Depending on the size you made your hole you may or may not want to use a washer.

This was the recommended attachment point, but we have heard it interfers with the height adjustment system.

Cut away excess webbing and burn the end with a match. See the regular tankbag instruction sheet for warranty, cleaning and other important information. |
